Post Your Heart was founded in February of 2012 as an alternative website to some of the other video, art, music, and writing content sharing websites on the internet. It is the place where members can post their writing, art, music, films, and other creative pursuits for the world to see on the art boards.
We also provide a free gallery space to all registered members so each member can develop their own following and fan base. All content that is posted to the Post Your Heart forums is automatically copyrighted so the members are protected from plagiarism from outside sources.
Post Your Heart is a special place on the web where all people can network with other creative individuals, contribute to the forums, post their creative works on the art boards, create their own gallery space, make their own blogs, and share their creative pursuits with the world. Self-promotion is encouraged here even in the Discord chat server.
We are also an online database of information on about every topic that you can think of. We are always accepting new submissions in our information sections and will continue to build our encyclopedia portion until it become a competitor with Wikipedia and some of the other well-known information vaults on the web.

The Rules
1. Keep thread topics appropriate for all ages.
2. Try not to spam post.
3. Other than that, post and promote whatever you want.
4. Be nice to people.
5. Try to treat people as you would like to be treated.
6. Do not post NSFW content in the group threads. Site admins have the right to remove this content and ban a member if we find it. The one exception to this rule is poetry and prose which MUST be rated 'M' in the four writing forums. If a site member does not rate their writing as 'M' but the piece contains mature content, the site admins have the right to remove it without notice. Please follow this rule. We take it very serious. You can however advertise and post as much NSFW writing as you want without marking it as NSFW in the site Discord chat server.
7. Do not post NSFW pictures anywhere in the group. Site admins have the right to remove this content and ban a member if we find it. You can however post NSFW images in the site Discord chat server.
8. Post all political, religious, and news topics in the forum set aside for this purpose. Do not post political, religious, or news topics in the main forums or they will be deleted by the site admins.
9. It is okay to post links to Patreon accounts, tip jars, and other fundraising campaigns that have to do with earning money for creative projects. You can also advertise personal fundraisers that are not related to raising funds for art projects. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask.
10. Please take heated arguments to PMs and do not attack other site members in the threads.
11. You are by no means entitled to break the rules for any reason other than inexperience.
12. A violation of any of these very simple rules will result in three warnings. If you continue to break the rules after you have been warned three times, then you will be banned. I feel that this is a fair course of action. But if you feel that you have been banned unfairly, always feel free to message me and we will try to work things out with all of the parties involved.
13. If you are promoting a mature story in the forum, you cannot put a link to the actual story, but you can put a link to your profile telling members to 'read all of your stories on your page' or something. That is the loophole to the site rule. Oh yeah, and story lists are okay. Just no DIRECT linking to the story.
14. Keep similar discussion topics in the same threads to avoid spamming or bandwagon posts which are both against the site rules.
